Metaphysics (What is reality?)

Brahman

  • TODO: Add a section discussing the 3 core different metaphysical splits, Brahman/Maya, Noumena/Phenomena, Will/Representation. Specially the first one and how it relates to the other two

Three Gunas

  • TODO: I think this is an interesting perception on reality. This shows a major philosophical difference between The Vedic and post modern worldviews, because after Trascendental idealism from Imannuel Kant, we think everything is subjective, but the Hindu is so objective that even objects can be classified between good and bad. For example could you imagine that a table is good or bad? But in Hindu, the table has three gunas in different proportions.

Nando Reis Lyrics

  • [Reflection] [Detachment through loss] The lyric suggests that detachment leads to spiritual progress and awakening.
  • [MYTAKE] I like this lyric. The Bhagavad Gita can seem to place too much emphasis on voluntary renunciation of the senses and material attachments, but in western society that is hard to believe in practice. In reality, loss often creates spiritual progress because it forces detachment.
  • [MYTAKE] On the other hand, without loss there may be nothing driving material detachment.
